On May 21, all Party members of the China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) held the Party lecture learning activity titled Strictly Observing the Eight-Point Decision to Build Industry Integrity. This learning session was conducted in the format of Party members giving Party lectures and was hosted by Party Branch Secretary Yang Xiaofang.
This learning session featured Duan Pengfei, an outstanding Party member of 2024, as the principal lecturer. He carefully prepared a Party lecture PPT file and deeply and clearly provided detailed explanations from four aspects in combination with industry conditions: Deeply understanding the significance of thorough learning and education of the eight-point decision on improving Party and government conduct (Eight-Point Decision); Analysis of conduct-related issues facing the medical device industry; How to deeply implement the spirit of the Eight-Point Decision in CAMDI's work, play the exemplary role of Party members, and take the lead in implementing the Eight-Point Decision. Based on a full understanding of the content and significance of learning the Eight-Point Decision, Duan Pengfei presented them to all participating Party members in precise language so that all Party members further understood the significance of the Eight-Point Decision and improved their ideological understanding; according to the characteristics of the medical device industry, Duan Pengfei elaborated from enterprise and CAMDI perspectives on how to better implement the Eight-Point Decision in enterprise product R&D, production, sales, as well as CAMDI's organization of industry activities, member services, and industry self-discipline. CAMDI, as a bridge between government and enterprises, should start with itself by strictly implementing the Eight-Point Decision to play a leading role in promoting frugality industry-wide.
Subsequently, all Party members engaged in active discussion to deeply understand the positive and profound impact of the Eight-Point Decision on the industry and expressed their commitment to implement the Eight-Point Decision in their work and life and that conduct improvement is always ongoing and must be maintained with sustained efforts. Afterward, Party members also disseminated the content of the Eight-Point Decision to all CAMDI staff and urged deeper learning and earnest implementation.
