On January 2, 2025, Mr. Ghulam Qadir, Commercial Counsellor, and Ms. Zhen Ying, Business Development Officer of the Commercial Section, from the Embassy of Pakistan in China visited the China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI). Xu Shan, Secretary-General of CAMDI, and staff from the International Cooperation Department of CAMDI attended the meeting with the delegation from the Embassy of Pakistan and expressed their welcome.
At the meeting, the Chinese side introduced the main work and functions of CAMDI, while the Pakistani side presented the situation of medical devices in Pakistan, particularly dental and surgical instruments, and elaborated on their recent work directions and key activities. Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani medical device enterprises and Pakistan’s investment advantages. They also discussed the details of the Pakistan China B2B Matchmaking Meeting on Medical Equipment and Surgical Instruments to be held in Beijing on January 17.
