In order to standardize the practice of pharmaceutical sales representatives and ensure the orderly and compliant conduct of academic promotion activities for pharmaceuticals, the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has led the revision of the Administrative Measures for the Filing of Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (for Trial Implementation) and, upon solicitation of opinions from six authorities including the Ministry of Public Security, the National Health Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the National Healthcare Security Administration, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the National Disease Control and Prevention Administration, has formulated the Administrative Measures for Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives (Exposure Draft), opinions on which are hereby solicited from society.
