China Association for Medical Devices Industry (CAMDI) - [CMDDEC] Win-win Cooperation! Key Projects Gather for the Financing Roadshow

The highly anticipated 1st China (Tianjin) Medical Devices Innovation Ecosystem Conference and the 7th China Medical Devices Design and Entrepreneurship Competition (2024) successfully concluded on August 25.
Diverse activities, such as interpretations of the latest policies and a financing roadshow of innovative projects, were held concurrently. The financing roadshow furnished innovative projects with opportunities to directly approach investment and financing institutions, with multiple quality projects gaining favor from investors.

At the beginning of the roadshow, Jiang Feng, President of China Strategic Alliance of Medical Device Innovation, Director of the Organizing Committee for China Medical Devices Design and Entrepreneurship Competition (CMDDEC), and Executive President of the Tianjin Research Institute for Advanced Medical Device Innovation (TRIID), delivered a speech, stating that currently, the channels for enterprise listings have narrowed, and capital activity has decreased, and that the roadshow aimed to provide more financing opportunities for innovative projects.

On the packed site, nearly 10 mature and quality innovation projects of Chinese medical devices gathered to showcase themselves. Multiple key medical device projects with industry disruption potential, market foresight, and social value took the “stage” one by one, where project representatives detailed their projects’ core technologies and market prospects to the attending guests and investors through engaging presentations and demonstrations. These projects spanned sub-fields such as high-end medical equipment, biomedical materials, and telemedicine technology and showed the latest achievements in technological innovation, intelligent manufacturing, and smart applications in the medical device industry.
